11:40 PM EDT, 05/15/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Standard Chartered (HKG:2888) bought back another 1,020,000 shares in the UK for a weighted average price of 7.76

pounds sterling on Wednesday, according to a Thursday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.

The lender also bought back another 1,023,520 shares in the UK for a weighted average price of 7.77

pounds sterling on Tuesday, according to a second filing on Thursday on the Hong Kong bourse.

Following repurchase and cancellation, the British lender will have 2,580,400,746 issued shares.
