Brilliance China Proposes Special Dividend, Shares Soar 31% to Hit Near Six-Year High

Brilliance China Automotive Holdings Ltd ($BRILLIANCE CHI 01114.HK$) experienced a strong performance, surging 31.48% to HK$7.1 at 10:41 GMT+8, hitting today a high since June 2018.

The surge came as the company announced a board meeting scheduled for April 15 to consider a special dividend distribution. Brilliance China reported a shareholder-attributable profit of RMB 7.735 billion for the past year, an increase of 8.23% from the previous year.
